The Santa Rosa Fire Department Honor Guard is a ceremonial unit dedicated to honoring with distinction those who serve the fire service. The Honor Guard is comprised of members of the International Association of Firefighters Local 1401, which includes the Santa Rosa Fire Department and the Rincon Valley Fire Protection District. The Honor Guard was formed following the tragic events of September 11, 2001, and it’s members serve with honor and dignity at funerals and memorial services for our fallen brothers and sisters. The Honor guard also participates in parades, special events, and other ceremonial occasions.
